Our Managed Services are designed to ensure the continuous operation of business-critical applications and systems by fully managing the AWS platform. We proactively manage the environment to optimise it for the SLAs that have been prescribed for it by the business by using a set of automated processes and tools. Our Managed Services operate 24x7 with on duty and on call engineers available to oversee the automated processes and provide assistance as required.

 

Our services are underpinned by production-grade response and recovery SLAs and back-end agreements with Cloud services providers and third-party vendors. We follow bi-modal IT principles and seamlessly integrate ITIL v4 and DevOps practices as part of our Managed Services.

Foundation & Infrastructure Support Module

The Foundation and Infrastructure Support module provides the foundation for all other HeleCloud Managed Service modules. By ensuring all of AWS workloads conform to the AWS Well-Architected framework, we provide a set of services that cover the full spectrum of AWS capabilities from load balancing to cost management. Once the service is operational, workloads are proactively monitored, deviations are remediated, and services are reviewed and continuously improved. 

 

The Foundation and Infrastructure module focuses primarily on network connectivity and operating systems management, and consists of the following components:

  • Instance and Operating System Management

Security and Compliance Module

This module provides everything that an organisation needs in terms of Cloud Security & Compliance – from GDPR and ISO 27001 all the way to Security Incident Response. We employ a broad range of AWS, open source and third-party tools and services to achieve the required security posture and meet your compliance goals at any point in time, in real time. The module consists of the following components:

  • Identity and Access Management

  • Network Security Management  

  • Compliance Management 

  • Vulnerability Management 

Performance Management Module

The Performance Management module is designed to ensure that Cloud workloads achieve optimal results on the AWS platform and provide the best customer experience. The Managed Services team establishes system and service performance baselines, automated monitoring guardrails, as well as proactive alerting and resolution of performance incidents. Performance deviations are remediated, and AWS limit increases are implemented as required. The module has the following components:

  • Infrastructure Performance Management

  • AWS Limits Management 

Service & Data Availability Module

The Service and Data Availability module ensures business continuity and disaster recovery for critical systems and data in support of predefined recovery time objectives (RTOs) and recovery point objectives (RPOs). By leveraging the resilience and recoverability of Cloud services, this module is designed for customers that have mission critical requirements for production-grade applications in the Cloud. The module consists of the following components:

  • Availability and Resilience Management 

  • Backup and Restore   

Cost Management & Optimisation Module

This module is designed for organisations that are looking to use Cloud in the most cost-efficient fashion and continually optimise their costs while also improving service and data availability, security, compliance and performance. It consists of the following components:

  • Cloud Cost Centre Management   

  • Cost Allocation & Reporting   

  • Cost Optimisation 

CI/CD as a Managed Service

Many of our customers focus on developing applications and on their core strengths as businesses while we help them by automating the software deployment process. We build and manage fully automated CI/CD pipelines that follow SecDevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Immutable Infrastructure principles to bring unprecedented levels of performance and security to our customers.
