AWS expansion in the UK and European Market is indicative of both market demand for Public Cloud services, and the continued commitment to serve customers better.
Amazon Web Services LLC (AWS) continue to expand their footprint, launching a new region in the UK. The region is the third in the European Union (EU), providing even lower latency and data sovereignty. The launch of the new region allows HeleCloud customers and partners in the UK and elsewhere in Europe to benefit from Cloud for some of the most demanding applications.
In preparation for the launch, leading organisations from the Telecommunications, Financial Services, Energy & Utilities, and Government sectors have been working with HeleCloud™, an AWS Consulting Partner, to plan and launch new applications and move existing ones in the new region from on premises and other regions to meet their latency, and data jurisdiction requirements. Areas of particular interest have been Security, Compliance, Big Data and Analytics, IoT, Cloud Operations and Automation, SAP and Enterprise Applications on AWS.
“Cloud is the mainstream platform for meeting enterprise customer security, compliance, performance, and cost requirements; it is a strong driver for our customers’ innovation and digital agenda, and provides unparalleled competitive advantage. The London region is levelling the playing field for British enterprises and start-ups, and success becomes a function of creativity, ideas, and customer focus, and not of the size of hardware or software budgets. We are excited about the news, and look forward to helping our UK and European customers to make the most of the new UK region through our end-to-end specialist professional and managed services”, says Dob Todorov, Chief Cloud Officer of HeleCloud™.For more information about the new AWS London region, visit
